Affirmations can be a powerful tool to transform our course in life. They can help us to see ourselves as we wish to be, bring our current state of mind in line with more positive and productive thinking, or help us steer towards accomplishing a goal we’ve set for ourselves.
Here are five examples of affirmations to break the barriers we create for ourselves. Play with these or create your own from scratch.
“I can do this.”
A most simple, base statement to build confidence and a positive self image.
“I am worthy of [blank].”
Fill in [blank] with whatever it is that you are wanting, but can’t seem to accomplish.
“I always see the positive direction available to me.”
This affirmation can help us keep our awareness open to the possibilities that come our way.
“Concentrating on what I put into any situation, I always provide positive influence in the lives of others.”
Helping others is a way of seizing opportunity in any situation we are in and can open doors for future possibilities.
“Clearly envisioning positive outcomes, I succeed in all my endeavors.”
When we are able to plant the seed in our mind to see things happening for our benefit, we can be open and receptive to positive outcomes and won’t take part in self sabotaging behaviors.
