For this month’s affirmations let’s explore the Yamas of yoga. The Yamas are external practices which are meant to bring us into a greater state of harmony with the world around us, allowing us to explore our inner selves more easily and in more depth to bring about higher states of conscious awareness.

I treat myself and others with kindness and understanding.

September 11 – 17

I speak the truth and honestly relate to people in my life.

September 18 – 24

I always act for my highest good and that of those affected by actions.

September 25 – October 1

I share the good fortune I enjoy with those around me.
